Ludhiana, October 30

Punjab Youth Development Board (PYDB) chairman Sukhwinder Singh Bindra honoured several doctors at the Dayanand Medical College and Hospital (DMCH) for their stellar role in fight against the Covid-19 pandemic.

Accompanied by DMCH Secretary Prem Gupta, Dr Sandeep Puri, Dr Rajesh Mahajan, Dr Bishav Mohan and several other doctors, Bindra said the Punjab Youth Development Board recognised the endeavour and courage of these doctors and their teams in battle against the deadly disease.

He said the fortitude displayed by them was a great example for the people. The war against the deadly virus was most difficult as the enemy was invisible.

He said all doctors exhibited exemplary courage and determination during the fight against Covid. As a result, several precious lives were saved. He said Covid warriors were the real heroes, who remained at the forefront during the pandemic, risking their own lives.
