Man crushed under truck

Ludhiana: A 67-year-old man was crushed to death under a rashly driven truck in Basti Jodhewal. The complainant, Dyal Singh, a resident of Kailash Nagar, told the police that on October 22, his father, Inderjeet Singh, was going towards Dholewal Chowk on his scooter. When he reached near a motorcycle agency, a rashly driven truck hit him from behind. His father’s head got crushed under the rear wheel of the truck and he died on the spot. The police have registered a case against an unidentified driver. TNS
