Various measures have been announced by the Centre to provide relief to employers and employees of establishments covered under the EPF and MP Act, 1952, distressed by spread of Covid-19 and other disruptions. Dheeraj Gupta, Regional Provident Fund Commissioner, said, “August 2020 is the last wage month for which the PMGKY scheme is valid. The due date for filing the electronic challan return (ECR) for August is September 15, 2020.”
