Tributes paid to war hero

Patiala: NCC cadets of Senior Secondary Model School, Punjabi University, celebrated the 78th birth anniversary of Flying Officer Nirmal Jit Singh Sekhon, the only member of the Indian Air Force to be honoured with the Param Vir Chakra. On Google meet, they paid tributes to the braveheart who made the supreme sacrifice in the 1971 war. Jatin Panwar of Class VIII and Gurpreet Kaur of Class X spoke on the occasion. TNS
