Bathinda, July 19

Demanding compensation and a government job for the kin of a computer teacher who allegedly died of Covid while discharging Covid-related duty during pandemic, members of the Computer Teachers' Union gheraoed the DC Office here on Monday.

They raised slogans against the administration and the state government. Earlier, they paid tributes to the deceased at his house.

Kulwant Singh, who was posted at Adampura Government High School, had contracted Covid while on duty during the pandemic and died on July 17. — TNS
