Indian spinner Yuzvendra Chahal’s cryptic response to Akash Chopra’s tweet has made Twitterati wonder if he’s taking a dig at Indian selectors for his exclusion from the recently-announced T20 World Cup squad.

According to Crictracker.com, Chahal, whose exclusion from the squad has raised several eyebrows, was responding to commentator and former cricketer Aakash Chopra’s tweet.

Chopra suggested in his tweet that faster spinners could make an impact in the ongoing IPL 2021.

“Picked a few trends from the first 30 games of #IPL2020 I think most will be valid this time too,” Chopra’s tweet said

“1. Win the toss-bat first 2. Pick genuine pace over medium-pacers 3. Bat cautiously in the PP over 4.Faster spinners likely to make an impact. Agree? #IPL2021

“Faster spinner bhaiya? Just kidding,” Chahal said, which Twitter assumed to be a dig at the squad selection.

This comes after BCCI Chief Selector Chetan Sharma had reportedly said spinners who bowled quickly were given priority for the T20 squad, Crictracker.com said in the report.
