Daily Reports of Mortality in Lahore.

EVERY one knows by this time that Lahore is in the grip of influenza and that the epidemic is exacting a heavy toll of human lives. People count the number of biers as they pass in the streets, take note of the number of bodies laid on pyres in the cremation grounds or the number of fresh graves dug in the Moslem graveyards and come to certain conclusions:--may be in some cases a trifle exaggerated as to the total mortality in Lahore. But so far as the exact total of death each day is concerned, the figures recorded by the Municipal staff are not available to the public. As far back as in our issue of October 9 we made a public call for these daily reports.
