The Hindu of the Punjab have for some time past been confronted with the unusual spectacle of two bodies running under the same name. The Punjab Hindu Sabha of Lahore prepared a draft constitution for the Conference and the Provincial Sabha, which it laid before the Conference Session at Ferozepore, and which was carried with certain modification bringing into existence a new provincial body called the Punjab Hindu Sabha with headquarters at Ferozepore. The existing Sabha at Lahore too continued under the old name, and lately celebrated its anniversary and elected its office bearers. On the 29th and 30th May the Ferozepore Sabha held a meeting at which a contingent of the Lahore Sabha was present. It is now propsed to meet the wishes of the Lahore Sabha, to hold another special session of the Conference to reconsider the constitution of the Conference and the Sabha.
