Amritsar, January 17
Nine passengers were injured in a road mishap at Sangatpura village on the Amritsar-Fatehgarh Churian road here on Friday.
According to the police, the accident took place when a bus collided with a school van, which was going to Amritsar from Dera Baba Nanak, due to dense fog and dilapidated road.
After the collision, the bus overturned. Besides, the driver of the school van, identified as Anmolpreet Singh of Anaitpura village, also sustained injuries. The van was going to pick up schoolchildren. The injured were taken to a hospital in Amritsar for treatment.
