The Amritsar Municipal Corporation swung into action after getting complaints against illegal pillars outside Alpha Mall and on a road leading to the Golden Temple here on Saturday.
A complaint was received by MC Commissioner Kumar Saurabh Raj that pillars were installed at the place of MC outside Alpha Shopping Mall located on GT Road and a kiosk was built illegally. After receiving the complaint in “Janata Darbar”, the pillars and kiosk were removed by the team of the estate department of the civic body.
