Amritsar, April 21

The district administration on Sunday kicked off a voter awareness van to make people aware of their voting rights. The van will cover all 11 constituencies in 22 days. District Election Officer Shivdular Singh Dhillon, after flagging off the van at Circuit House, said it would remain in each constituency for two days. He elaborated that the van, equipped with LED screen and audio-video, would educate electorates about mobile apps, such as C-vigil. He said the Constitutional right of vote must be exercised without greed or fear. — TNS
