Expelled SAD leader Ranjit Singh Brahmpura on Sunday termed the apology by the Badals at Akal Takht a “political gimmick”. Brahmpura was addressing his supporters at Bharowal village, 18 km from here, on Sunday.

He said, “Parkash Singh Badal, his son Sukhbir Singh Badal and their coterie are facing anger from the Sikh community for their erroneous work during their 10-year regime. They have damaged to the SAD and no one is ready to support them. Appearing before the Almighty is the only way to save their political careers, but they have lost a lot of time.”

Former MLA Ravinder Singh Brahmpura and others also addressed the gathering on the occasion.
