Amritsar: The district administration has decided to get police case registered against those who break the iron grills alongside the Bus Rapid Transit System (BRTS) track in the city. Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kamaldeep Singh Sangha said such people will be identified for action.

Self-employment courses

The last date to apply for the six-month certificate courses in cutting and tailoring and cosmetology at the Guru Nanak Dev University (GNDU) is January 22. Girls, who have passed eighth grade, are eligible to enroll in the course offered by Life Long Learning Department of the university. The application can be submitted online using the web link www.gndu.ac.in/lifelong/default.aspx. More information can be obtained from the university website. TNS
