Members of the Theka Mulazim Union today staged a protest at the residence of Cabinet Minister Navjot Singh Sidhu, seeking a meeting with Chief Minister Capt Amarinder Singh in connection with their demands. Job regularisation is their main demand.

They have been demanding a meeting with the CM for long to discuss their demands as well as seeking the fulfillment of the various poll promises made by the Congress before the Assembly elections held last year.

The members of the union reached the residence and protested outside his house. They said they had been getting mere assurances.

Vikas Kumar, one of the members, said, “The state government does not have time for its people. We want only one meeting with the chief minister.”
