Tarn Taran, December 5

Lok Sabha Member of Parliament from Khadoor Sahib, Ranjit Singh Brahmpura, who has been expelled from the SAD, has appealed to the Sikh community for the social boycott of Badal family.

The rebel SAD leader expressed these views while addressing workers in Naurangabad village, 10 km from here, on Wednesday.

He said rebel Taksali SAD leaders would meet at Akal Takht on December 16 and after performing ardas, the name of new outfit would be announced. He said the new outfit would be based on the principles of 1920-based SAD. Brahmpura said he had no regret for criticising the wrong policies of Badal family.

Former SAD MLA Ravinder Singh Brahmpura was among others who addressed the meeting.
