The Special Task Force (STF) today arrested Ganpati Gun House owner for providing arms to the alleged notorious gangster, Kamal Bori, and the nambardar who had attested the identity and character of Bori and recommended that an arms licence be issued to him.

Confirming this, Kunwar Vijay Partap Singh said Rashneet Sharma, owner of Ganpati Gun House in Majitha, had issued arms to Bori and later tampered with the record. He was arrested today and brought on one-day police remand for further investigations.

Similarly, he said nambardar Makhan Singh was arrested and sent to judicial custody in the same case. He allegedly took money from him for recommending issuing of an arms licence to him even as a number of criminal cases were registered against him.

Meanwhile, Jatinder Kumar, who was earlier arrested in the case, was brought on production warrant for further interrogation in the case. He and Angrej Singh, the cop who was also arrested in the case, had applied for bail in the local court which were rejected. This is for the second time that the bails were denied to them.
