The police have booked a person for allegedly stealing a truck. The accused has been identified as Balwant Singh, a resident of Dhun Dhai Wala village.

Truck owner Jagtar Singh, a resident of Rattoke village, 30 km from here, said two weeks ago, the accused came to his residence and took away the key of the truck (HR 55N 1535), which was hanging on the wall.

Jagtar said the accused stole his truck that was parked near his house. He told the police that the accused was the driver of his truck and due to his malafide intentions, he removed him from his post.
