PSEB asks schools to follow rules

AMRITSAR: In a set of new instructions to its affiliated schools, the Punjab School Education Board (PSEB) has asked the institutions to make sure that their affiliation with the board is mentioned on their notice boards and letter heads.

In a set of new instructions to its affiliated schools, the Punjab School Education Board (PSEB) has asked the institutions to make sure that their affiliation with the board is mentioned on their notice boards and letter heads. The schools have been asked to maintain admission records in both English and Punjabi.

The schools have been asked to ensure that the transport facility is in accordance with the the Punjab School Education Boardrules. The board has also asked all regulations must be followed in regard to the Fee Act.

An official at the district education office said, “We have received the letter. The DEO will check the aided schools.”

Yuvak Mela on May 26

A district-level Yuvak Mela will be organised at Government Girls Senior Secondary School, Mall Road, at 10 am on May 26.

Winners from all 17 blocks will take part in competitions, such as clay painting, poetry and drama. — TNS
