The Sadar police have booked a youth for allegedly raping a married woman after kidnapping her. The complainant alleged that the accused kept her in illegal detention in a flat in Chandigarh and raped her several times.

The victim stated to the police that the accused was her neighbour. She said he used to come to her residence to play with her child. Around two months ago, he abducted her and took to a flat in Chandigarh where he raped her several times, she complained. According to her, she tried to escape, but could not as she was confined in the flat.
