5 held with liquor, poppy husk

BATHINDA: The Kotfatta police have arrested a person and recovered 300 bottles of illicit liquor from a Honda City car (DL-CH-5714) from Jassi Pau Wali village.

The Kotfatta police have arrested a person and recovered 300 bottles of illicit liquor from a Honda City car (DL-CH-5714) from Jassi Pau Wali village.

The accused has been identified as Manga Singh, a resident of Bhagi Vander village.

The Nandgarh police have arrested three persons from Chak Attar Singh Wala village and recovered 240 bottles of illicit liquor from a car (DL-2CC-8044). The police have also recovered a motorcycle (HR-25E-3925).

The accused have been identified as Labhpreet Singh and Ravinder Singh of Raike Kalan village and Bunty Singh of Sirsa. The accused have been booked under the Excise Act.

The Nandgarh police have arrested Surjeet Kaur, a resident of Ghudda village, with 6 kg of poppy husk. She has been booked under the NDPS Act.
