Job fair: 31 candidates selected on Day 5

BATHINDA: Around 460 job aspirants turned up for interviews and got jobs in 11 companies on the fifth day of the mega job fair under way at Maharaja Ranjit Singh Punjab Technical University (MRSPTU) in Bathinda.

Around 460 job aspirants turned up for interviews and got jobs in 11 companies on the fifth day of the mega job fair under way at Maharaja Ranjit Singh Punjab Technical University (MRSPTU) in Bathinda.

There were 540 job openings and companies shortlisted 233 candidates and selected 31 candidates on Sunday. On Saturday, out of 1,640 applicants appeared for interviews, 269 candidates were selected and 391 were shortlisted by 30 companies at the fair.

The fair would conclude on Monday when 30 companies would be hiring candidates for 666 job openings.

Deputy Commissioner Parneet said the mega job fair would continue till November 19 and interested candidates could visit the venue and appear for job interviews. Candidates are required to register themselves on website: www.ghargharrozgar.gov.in. Interested candidates with eligibility of matriculation and graduation/post graduation in different discipline can appear for interviews to get a job in their respective domain.
