Man duped of Rs 7.10 lakh in job fraud

BATHINDA: The police have booked a resident of Sira for duping a man of Rs 7.10 lakh on the pretext of providing his son with a job in with Intelligence Bureau (IB).

The police have booked a resident of Sira for duping a man of Rs 7.10 lakh on the pretext of providing his son with a job in with Intelligence Bureau (IB).

Sukhcharan Singh, a resident of Katar Singh Wala village, stated that the accused, Tasveer Kaur, took Rs 7.10 lakh from him on the pretext of providing job to his son in with the IB.

He added that after taking the money, the accused neither provided any job nor returned his money.

The police have registered a case under Section 420 and 120 B on the complaint of Sukhcharan Singh at the Bathinda Sadar police station. — TNS
