BATHINDA: Two persons were arrested by the police for liquor smuggling today.

Two persons were arrested by the police for liquor smuggling today. Rakesh Kumar of Chandsar Basti was caught with 24 bottles of country-made liquor near Chandsar Basti. He has been booked at the Civil Lines police station.

Jeet Singh of Multania was arrested near Balluana village with five litre illicit liquor.

Police have arrested 15 persons in the past four days and have recovered large quantities of illicit liquor and drugs.
