Two trains cancelled, others behind schedule

FARIDKOT: Even as foggy weather conditions are on the decline in the region, passengers continue to suffer from erratic rail traffic.

Even as foggy weather conditions are on the decline in the region, passengers continue to suffer from erratic rail traffic.

According to information, 14525-26 Ambala Cantt-Sri Ganganagar Intercity Express and DMU 74985-86, which ply between Bathinda and Fazilka have been cancelled.

A majority of trains are running behind schedule. Among them are 14732 Fazilka-Delhi Intercity Express, 14712-11 Sri Ganganagar-Haridwar Intercity Express, 15909 Avadh Assam Express and 54757 Ambala Cantt-Sri Ganganagar. They were delayed by more than four hours.

Besides, 12481 Delhi-Sri Ganganagar Intercity express was delayed by more than three hours.

Passengers were seen making rounds of the inquiry counters and sitting on platforms waiting for trains for hours.
