Chandigarh: BJP candidate Kirron Kher on Thursday said Congress candidate Pawan Kumar Bansal took issues concerning the city lightly, which annoyed city residents. During an interactive session with a group of advocates at the Central Administrative Tribunal, she said Bansal’s tenure was marked with a ‘non responsive attitude’, which was not the case with the Modi-led government. Earlier, Rohit Seth, president, CAT Bar Association, apprised the BJP candidate of the problems being faced by the lawyer fraternity. BSP leader shifts loyalty
Chandigarh: A leader of the Bahujan Samaj Party, Kamlesh Kumar, along with his supporters joined the BJP at the latter’s local office in Sector 33 here on Thursday. Welcoming them into the party, BJP senior leader Dinesh Kumar said they would further strengthen the party. Kamlesh Kumar said they would ensure BJP candidate Kirron Kher’s win with a huge margin. TNS
