10-day yoga camp for jail inmates

AMBALA: Haryana Director-General (Prisons) K Selvaraj today inaugurated a 10-day yoga camp for inmates of the Central Jail, Ambala City.

Haryana Director-General (Prisons) K Selvaraj today inaugurated a 10-day yoga camp for inmates of the Central Jail, Ambala City.

On the occasion, the DG said, “Yoga is an ancient art. When a person comes to jail, there are chances that he may become a victim of mental stress. Yoga can help people stay stress-free and healthy.”

Jail Superintendent Lakhbir Singh said nearly 200 inmates were participating in the camp.
