Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) candidate from Chandigarh Harmohan Dhawan campaigned at the Sector 35 market here today.

Shopkeepers welcomed Dhawan and assured their vote support in the forthcoming Lok Sabha elections.

Dhawan said the traders were highly critical of the effects of demonetisation and GST on their businesses, which were implemented in hest and without preparation.

Dhawan claimed that the shopkeepers said after looking at the performances of the BJP and the Congress, they would reject the candidates of both parties and vote for the AAP.

Meanwhile, AAP member Jujhar Singh Badheri and Dhawan’s wife Satinder Dhawan continued the campaign at Raipur Khurd village.
