Implement NGT guidelines, CM urged

Patiala: The district unit of the AAP,  led by district president GS Mungo, handed over a memorandum to the SDM urging CM Capt Amarinder Singh to implement the National Green Tribunal (NGT) guidelines that had asked government officials to talk to farmers and decide on the aid needed to stop stubble burning. Mungo said the government was least serious about the NGT directions and were unnecessarily harassing the farmers. TNS
