Kharar, March 22
A 28-year-old youth was stabbed to death near Rani Majra here yesterday.
The deceased has been identified as David Masih, a resident of Maloya in Chandigarh.
The police said the victim’s father John alleged that his son was attacked with a knife by Sarabjit Singh. David sustained serious injuries and was rushed to the Civil Hospital at Kurali. However, doctors referred him to the PGI, Chandigarh, where he was declared dead.
A case has been registered against Sarabjit Singh under Section 302 of the IPC at the Kurali police station. — OC
