P’kula boy tops tricity

Chandigarh, July 24

Chetan Chandgothia from Panchkula has secured top rank in the tricity in the CA final exams held in May. His All-India Rank is 86. Jaineet Singh and Saurav Gupta secured second and third ranks in the region, respectively. 

Chetan has scored 515 marks out of 800 with 64.38 per cent, whereas Jaineet and Saurav got 460 and 454 marks, respectively. Chetan was the IPCC city topper in 2014 and cleared both groups of each exam in his first attempt. Chetan says that his mother has always been his source of inspiration since childhood. He attributed his success to his mentors, Abhishek Chauhan and Durgesh Singh. Chetan has also been remained school topper in classes X and XII. Rajeev Chandgothia, proud father of Chetan, praised his son’s hard work, strength and perseverance which brought him this success. TNS
