The teachers held various protests on the campus and also sat outside the Vice-Chancellor’s (VC) office.

The teachers had on Tuesday expressed dissatisfaction over the Punjabi University Syndicate’s decision to raise their basic salary from Rs 21,600 to Rs 30,000.
