CHANDIGARH: Kamal Sekhon, director of the Surge Foundation, organised an interactive session on women empowerment at Sacred Heart Senior Secondary School, Sector 26, Chandigarh.



Chandigarh: Kamal Sekhon, director of the Surge Foundation, organised an interactive session on women empowerment at Sacred Heart Senior Secondary School, Sector 26, Chandigarh. The session was organised for the students of class VIII. Dr Mangla Dogra, a gynaecologist, was the special invitee. She used her expertise to speak on various issues ranging from puberty changes to health issues. She also dealt with a number of other queries on hormonal changes. Various questions were posed by the students. A number of clarifications were made by the visiting team. Dr Navita Sandhu, a lawyer also gave a motivational talk. TNS
