Shemrock School first in nukkad natak contest

CHANDIGARH: An inter-school nukkad natak competition was organised at Kundan International School in order to spread awareness on social issues amongst students and make them aware about the current social senario.

Chandigarh, January 23

An inter-school nukkad natak competition was organised at Kundan International School in order to spread awareness on social issues amongst students and make them aware about the current social senario. Eleven participating schools came up with sensitive topics, inculding child labour, gender inequality, ill-effects of mobiles and other current issues.

The first prize was secured by Shemrock School, Mohali. Moti Ram Arya School bagged the second position. Mount Carmel was adjudged the third best and Chitkara International School won the consolation position.

Kundan International School Principal Manjeet Jauhar presented a vote of thanks and applauded the efforts of students. The principal praised the collaborative efforts and hard work of teachers and students, which she said was evident by students performance leaving an indelible mark on minds of the audience.
