Students of Sri Guru Harkrishan Model School, Sector 38-D, Chandigarh, conducted a special assembly to pay tributes to those who died in the atomic bomb explosions in Hiroshima and Nagasaki. Students of Class VII presented speeches, thoughts, poems and songs to express suffering and losses caused by the blasts.

Students of Kids ‘R’ Kids School, Sector 42-C, organised Parents’ Day. Children welcomed their parents with a song, ‘Beauty of God’. Students performed a skit, ‘Parivartan Zaroori Hai’, and Bengali song ‘Ekla Chalo Re’. A comic skit was also performed to enhance the spirits of the audience. The annual function for the junior wing was held with zeal and enthusiasm at DC Montessori School.
