Survey on education, health from July 1

Mohali, June 20  

 The National Sample Survey Office, a field operations division of the Union Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation, will collect data on consumer expenditure, social consumption on health and education  from July 1 to June 30, 2018. 

  A  three-day training conference in respect of the regional office, Punjab (South), Mohali, began today. It 

involved field officials of the Centre and the state.   

The survey on social consumption on health will include the expenditure on hospitalisation  and pre-natal and post-natal care related to government and private hospitals. In the case of social consumption on education, the main objective is to build indicators on the participation of persons in the education system and the expenditure incurred on education. TNS
