Suspension orders of 21 sanitary workers revoked

PANCHKULA: After sanitary workers of Haryana called off their strike on Thursday, Panchkula MC Commissioner Rajesh Jogpal also revoked the suspension orders of 21 sanitary workers.

After sanitary workers of Haryana called off their strike on Thursday, Panchkula MC Commissioner Rajesh Jogpal also revoked the suspension orders of 21 sanitary workers.

Besides, the Commissioner also cancelled termination orders of 29 contractual sanitary workers. The Commissioner also conveyed to 24 workers, who were engaged through outsourcing companies, to apply fresh.

The Haryana Government had accepted all demands of sanitary workers on Thursday. The MC workers in Kalka resumed work on Friday. Workers of Panchkula and Pinjore area had resumed work recently, but Kalka workers were sitting on a dharna.
