Two booked for threatening lawyer

CHANDIGARH: The police have booked two persons for allegedly threatening an advocate. In a complaint to the police, Sumita Kapil, an advocate, alleged that Anurag Sandhu and Rosy Sandhu, residents of Sector 8 here, had threatened, restrained and misbehaved with her while she came to assist Ravi Jain for discussion in legal procedure.

The police have booked two persons for allegedly threatening an advocate.

In a complaint to the police, Sumita Kapil, an advocate, alleged that Anurag Sandhu and Rosy Sandhu, residents of Sector 8 here, had threatened, restrained and misbehaved with her while she came to assist Ravi Jain for discussion in legal procedure.

A case under Sections 341, 506, 509, 406 and 34 of the IPC has been registered at the Sector 17 police station.

Car stolen

A Honda City was stolen from Sector 32 here. In a complaint to the police, Dharmender Kumar, a resident of Sector 32-C, stated that unknown person stole his car (CH-01BC-7880) while it was parked near St Anee’s School on the intervening night of April 17 and 18. A case has been registered under Section 379 of the IPC at the Sector 34 police station.
