NEW DELHI: Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal’s staff on Monday received a threat call from a person about a possible attack on him at his house.

New Delhi, January 21

Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal’s staff on Monday received a threat call from a person about a possible attack on him at his house.

The caller who called on the landline at around 10:45 am said he was calling from west Delhi’s Vikaspuri and he has heard about somebody planning to attack the CM. The number from which the call was made could not be identified as the caller ID of the phone was non-functional.

As per the government, the caller ID installed at the official landline telephone has not been fixed despite several reminders to the General Administration Department of Delhi government functional since May last year. The CM's Personal Security Officer has informed the Delhi Police about the call.

Earlier this month, CM office received a threat to kidnap his daughter through email. The accused was arrested later. — TNS
