New Delhi, July 14

The Metro services on Magenta Line were hit for about two hours today morning due to some technical glitch, said an official of the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC).

The passengers had to face problems due to the snag. The issue was resolved around 11 am and services were resumed, the official said.

The official said the line connected Botanical Garden in Noida to the Janakpuri West stations. The trains were operated on a single line between RK Puram and Kalkaji Mandir stations.

Train services on Line-8 (magenta) between Kalkaji and the RK Puram section were affected from 8.55 am to 11 am due to motoring problem being reported from a train on the Chirag Delhi UP platform, said an official statement of the DMRC.
