AIR starts 17-hr broadcast in Hamirpur

HAMIRPUR: All India Radio (AIR), Hamirpur, started broadcasting for 17 hours from October 2.

All India Radio (AIR), Hamirpur, started broadcasting for 17 hours from October 2.

Station head Pardep Kumar said earlier the station used to broadcast for 15 hours, which had been increased to 17 hours now.

He said to improve the quality and grab the listeners, the station had conceived a folklore-based programme ‘Assan Da Sandukaru’. The programme would entertain people and also connect them to their roots. — OC
