Crack inspired by Falling Down?

Bollywood has never shied away from getting inspiration from Hollywood films. Be it official remakes or just a borrowed plot, there have been many such movies. And it looks like Akshay Kumar-starrer Crack too has many similarities with a Hollywood film called Falling Down, which is a cult hit starring Michael Douglas, who plays William ‘D-Fens’ Foster, an unemployed and divorced engineer whose downward spiral includes random criminal acts. The film released in 1993 and received critical acclaim.
