Imagine an animal and it will be created with damaged sanitary items without using any water or concrete in front of you in less than five minutes at Kala Sagar in Sector 36, which is the dream project of a city bathroom-fitting contractor Vijay Pal Goel.

On the entrance of the garden, security guards made of water pipes welcome you with folded hands and a smile on their faces. From here, the journey to the world of a unique art starts. Goel has created scenes of the Pathankot terror attack and the international airport in the city with great precision .

Interestingly, he has a craze for collecting damaged sanitary items dumped by factories. He has also created a steam engine from the waste material, which is the major attraction for the children and visitors there.

Goel’s day starts with the creation of day-to-day happenings in the country and ends with the collection of the raw material for his workshop. Brass taps, water tanks, PVC pipes and other sanitary items are included in his collection.

“When I worked as a consultant with various companies in 1980s, they used to give me their damaged sanitary products and I used to create animals out of these. I do not know when it got converted into a passion for me for which I left my job and started staying in Kala Sagar with my wife,” said Goel.

The size of his creation varies from 0.5 inch to 20 feet and depends upon the availability of the waste material.
