MBA programme 2018

National Institute of Technology (NIT), Warangal, has announced the notification for admission into MBA Programme 2018 (through CAT and MAT) for the commencing session 2018-19

Eligibility: Applicant should be a citizen of India. Candidates should have bachelor’s degree in any branch of Engineering/Technology from a recognised university with at least 60 per cent marks in aggregate (I to IV Year) or 6.5 CGPA and a valid CAT/MAT score

Filled in application form with all the necessary documents including the registration fee receipt to be send to the “Chairman (Admissions), NIT Warangal, Warangal–506 004, Telangana State” super scribing the envelope with “Application for Admission into M.B.A 2018.” The link to pay registration fee through SBI i-collect is www.onlinesbi.com/sbicollect/collecthome.htm. Other payments like mobile payments (IMPS), NEFT, RTGS and Direct Transfer will not be accepted.

B.Ed entrance exam 

Himachal Pradesh University, Shimla has invited applications from eligible candidates for the B.Ed. entrance test for admission to two-year regular B.Ed. Course in Himachal Pradesh for the Session 2018-20. 

Eligibility: Candidates with at least 50 per cent marks either in the Bachelor’s degree (medical/non-medical/commerce/arts) and or in the Master’s Degree in sciences/ social sciences/humanity, Bachelor’s in engineering or technology with specialisation in science and mathematics with 55 per cent marks or any other qualification equivalent thereto. Candidates who have appeared in BA/B.Sc. /B.Com final year or Master’s degree, Bachelor of Engg/Technology or any other qualification equivalent and the result of the same has not yet been declared, can also apply for B.Ed. entrance test. There is no upper age limit for candidates applying to the regular B.Ed. course of one year. 

How to apply: Online. All the applicants are advised to read the Prospectus of the B.Ed. Entrance Test-2018 carefully before filling up the Form. Application form and prospectus can also be downloaded from the website.

Hotel Management programme

Army Institute of Hotel Management and Catering Technology (AIHMCT) Bangalore invites applications from the eligible candidates for admission to Bachelor's Degree in Hotel Management (BHM) four-year full-time programme commencing in the academic session 2018-19.

Eligibility: Admission to this Institute is for wards of eligible serving Army personnel, eligible ex-Army personnel and war widows of the Army only. The candidate should have passed Class XII examination or its equivalent in any academic stream with English as a compulsory subject. All provisional admissions will stand cancelled if proof of having passed the qualifying examination Class XII, or its equivalent is not submitted as required by due date 

How to apply: Prospectus cum application form can be obtained by paying Rs.1000, which includes postal charges by demand draft in favour of the “Army Institute of Hotel Management and Catering Technology (AIHM & CT)", payable at Bangalore.
