Singer Gurdas Maan''s SUV hit, damaged

CHANDIGARH: A SUV owned by Punjabi singer Gurdass Maan and a government vehicle were damaged after a recklessly driven Indica car hit both the vehicles in Sector 29 on Tuesday, leaving the Indica driver injured.

A SUV owned by Punjabi singer Gurdass Maan and a government vehicle were damaged after a recklessly driven Indica car hit both the vehicles in Sector 29 on Tuesday, leaving the Indica driver injured.

The police said one Mandeep Singh who was driving the Indica car rashly, hit a government vehicle before ramming into Land Cruiser owned by Gurdass Mann. The singer was not present in the SUV and was being driven by his driver.

The eyewitness rushed to the spot and the police was informed. The accident led to traffic snarl on the road.

Police officials said that Indica driver Mandeep Singh suffered head injury and was admitted to the Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), Sector 32.

The police had registered a case of rash driving against Mandeep at the Industrial Area police station and an investigation had been initiated.
