AMBALA: The Army will organise a recruitment rally for residents of Ambala, Yamunanagar, Panchkula, Kaithal, Karnal, Kurukshetra and Chandigarh at Tejli stadium here from August 20 to 30.

The Army will organise a recruitment rally for residents of Ambala, Yamunanagar, Panchkula, Kaithal, Karnal, Kurukshetra and Chandigarh at Tejli stadium here from August 20 to 30.

Director (Recruitment) Colonel Somnath Gupta told mediapersons here on Friday recruitment will be for solider (general duty) and soldier (clerk/storekeeper). “Candidates can register online from June 21 to August 4,” he said.

He clarified that candidates with normal or religious tattoos on the inner side of their wrists (from back of their palms to the elbows) would be permitted to participate in the recruitment rally, but those who had tattoos on other parts of their body or had some objectionable content tattooed would not be allowed.

Candidates who married before attaining the age of 21 years would not be allowed to participate.

The dope test will be conducted during the rally.
