Senior Congress leader and Rajya Sabha MP Kumari Selja on Sunday said the BJP has failed on all fronts, even in fulfilling its election manifesto.

“The youth are still waiting for jobs, while farmers for the implementation of Swaminathan Commission report, but the BJP leaders are running away from reality,” she said, while interacting with mediapersons at the residence of senior Congress leader Shamsher Singh Gogi in Sector 5.

On being asked about the new tagline of the BJP ‘mai bhi chowkidar’, she said let the BJP leaders decide whether they were chowkidars or chaiwalas.

“They are only making fool of people and nothing else. People know very well about the ‘jumlebazi’ of the BJP,” she said.

In response to the claim of BJP president Subhash Barala that the party would win all 10 seats, she said the BJP does not even have its own candidates, but was dependent on candidates from other parties. On the claim to contest either from Sirsa or Ambala, she said the party leadership would decide that.

She claimed that the Congress was united and party leaders would launch a ‘parivartan yatra’ in the state and all leaders would take part in it.
