PANIPAT: A youth on a motorcycle was crushed to death in an accident on Wednesday evening on the Jatal road in the city. The police registered a case against the truck driver and handed over the body of the deceased to victim’s kin after post-mortem examination.

Panipat: A youth on a motorcycle was crushed to death in an accident on Wednesday evening on the Jatal road in the city. The police registered a case against the truck driver and handed over the body of the deceased to victim’s kin after post-mortem examination. The deceased was identified as Bintu of 8-marla of the city. Vipin Pal of Ekta Colony, in his complaint to the police, said he was buying milk from a dairy on the Jatal road. Meanwhile, a motorcyclist and a truck coming from the Deswal chowk side hit his bike. The victim was taken to hospital, where he was declared brought dead. TNS

Man shoots youth, commits suicide 

Hisar: Petrol pump owner Karan Singh shot dead a youth, identified as Kuldeep Singh, and later committed suicide by shooting himself at his petrol pump in Chaudhariwali village of the district on Thursday. A police spokesperson said the accused and Kuldeep had a dispute over financial transaction. Kuldeep arrived at the petrol pump with two other youths. On seeing Kuldeep at the petrol pump, Karan took out his pistol and opened fire at him and Rahul, who was accompanying Kuldeep. Karan then reportedly shot himself. Rahul was taken to the civil hospital. TNS
