Maharaja Agrasen Jayanti was celebrated here today. Lokayukta Justice Nawal Kishore Agarwal (retd) said Maharaja Agrasen had brought a major social change by his revolutionary thoughts.
He said Maharaja Agrasen was a symbol of socialism and his anniversary is celebrated to motivate youths to follow in his footsteps.
Mayor Renu Bala Gupta also called upon society to follow Agrasen’s teachings.—TNS
