Manethi AIIMS an illusion: Chautala

“Manethi AIIMS is an illusion to fool you. The BJP sold this dream before the 2014 elections. When it did not materialise in five years, it created the drama of approval to proposal and earmarking of land before Lok Sabha elections. The BJP fooled with Rewari as it was never on its agenda,” said INLD supremo and former Chief Minister Om Prakash Chautala on Monday.

Addressing a rally in Bawal, he claimed that the INLD was a true Haryanavi party that understood the people and their needs and delivered development instead of false dreams.

“We are people of the soil and talk of ground realities. We promise resolution of your woes at the grassroots and never promise what is not achievable. This does not mean that we do not know what development is. Haryana progressed the maximum under our regime. The biggest leaps were made by our government and we will do it for Rewari also,” he said.

“You trusted a wrong government in the past, which let down farmers, employees, traders and workers. The Congress failed you as the Opposition as it could never question the government. We talk of giving you inclusive development and self-reliance. We promise to bring pride back to Haryana,” he added.
