The JJP on Thursday released its manifesto, promising right to work, right to sports facilities, right to health and free education to girls till PhD. Party secretary general KC Bangar released the manifesto.
Besides guaranteeing employment based on eligibility under right to work, the party promised 75 per cent reservation for local youth in jobs, Rs 11,000 as unemployment allowance, 10 marks for rural youth in competitive examinations and creation of Haryana security force for large-scale recruitment.
For farmers, the party promised free change of land use for doing business, completion of Sutlej-Yamuna Link canal, payment of 10 per cent or Rs 100 more than MSP, kisan model schools for rural students and scrapping crop insurance policy and production per hectare clause during sale.
The manifesto talked about direct elections to students’ bodies every year. The party promised Rs 5,100 as old-age pension and lowering of age criterion to 58 years for men and 55 years for women.
